6 Different Species from Jurong Lake Park:

 This picture of a fruit is able to be seen in Jurong Lake Park. Its called, a mango tree. The mango is a fleshy stone fruit that belongs to the genus Mangifera, consisting of numerous tropical fruit trees in the flowering plant family Anacardiaceae.

                                     

This picture shows a flower bud that has not bloom.

This picture shows a myna bird or more commonly known as mynah. The mynah bird is a bird from the starling family. This is a group of passerine birds which are native to southern Asia, especially in North India.

This picture captured a wild dog which has been treating the park as its home.

This is a picture of Palm Trees that are very common in Singapore. Palm trees come from a botanical family known as Arecaceae that consists of perennial lianas, shrubs, and trees that are commonly known as palm trees. They are flowering plants and the only family in the monocot order Arecales.

This type of flowers that are shown in the photograph are flowering plants that are known as bougainvillea. Bougainvillea is a genus of flowering plants and they are native to South America from Brazil west to Peru and south to Southern Argentina. The scientific name for this plant is Bougainvillea and the higher classification for this flowering plant would be : Nyctaginaceae.
